Clarion open day

The Harmony Youth Project team had a great afternoon at the Clarion Open Day. The sun was shining, we met some lovely people and had the chance to show off our brand-new knife crime prevention van.

The van will help us take our prevention work out into local communities and make it easier to connect with young people and families. Knife crime can have a devastating effect, so open, honest conversations matter. Through our work with young people, we aim to build understanding, support safer choices and help young people feel confident seeking advice from trusted adults.

A community event like the Clarion Open Day is a valuable chance to introduce people to what we do and make our work more visible. The van gives us another way to bring that message to places where people meet, learn and spend time together.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat, and to the Clarion team for hosting a welcoming event. We’re looking forward to taking the van out to more local events and continuing our work to help prevent knife crime across Bolton.
